In 1960, Discount Tire was founded by Bruce T. Halle in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with an inventory of only six tires. Through the following years, Halle cultivated connections with his community, customers and employees through respect and fairness, and he was able to turn Discount Tire into America’s largest independent tire and wheel retailer. You can now find one of the more than 900 Discount Tire locations across 29 states, with each store still offering the warm and personal touch to the individual customer that you’d expect from a neighborhood store like that original one in Michigan.

Every set of tires you buy from Discount Tire comes with installation and free lifetime rotations. You’ll also get free prorated road hazard coverage, which means you’ll get a credit towards your purchase of new tires if normal road hazards cause you to need to replace your tires. In other words, you’ll get a credit based on the remaining treadwear of your tires when you get your new ones.
